the two patchwork sides and straps of this tote bag are all reclaimed cotton and linen scraps, mostly from clothing, quilting cotton, and bedsheets. several of the scraps are antique feedsack cloth. the big pink pieces are hand dyed with madder, the toile is hand dyed with indigo, and the small green linen patch is hand dyed with mugwort. the solid lining piece is a vintage cotton napkin, and the patchwork lining piece features a very roomy seersucker pocket.
