hark hecate!
hark hecate!
this potion invokes hecate, the goddess of the crossroads, and provides nutritive support as a daily tonic while energetically encouraging the growth and reinforcement of strong boundaries. after a few weeks of reading about and often thinking of hecate, this potion came to me on the evening of the full wolf moon in cancer, which happened to be both the first full moon of the year and a penumbral lunar eclipse. the conjunction of my inspiration and the date i brewed this potion makes it feel like a distinct offering for folks at the brink of major life changes, folks digging deep into ancestral and/or shadow work, and folks whose lives necessitate constant and agile transitions between hustles, languages, and physical spaces.
hark hecate! offers you the nourishment of nettle, the strength of motherwort, the grace of rose, the persistence of blackberry, and their combined physical boundaries of stings and thorns, plus the warmth of cinnamon and the clear protection of yarrow and red tailed hawk essence, as you choose your path and make your way through the crossroads.
